  The walk up to Pillar point (the parking lot right before Cape Farewell) is one of the most gorgeous walks I have ever been on. You go up the hill then continue ~15 min past the structure on the top and come to a lookout from which you can see all of Golden Bay and Farewell Split. Absolutely amazing.
